A collaborative with an effective governance framework is able to move forward with collective action as opposed to paralyzing conflict and stalemate. An effective governance framework encourages diverse voices and interests working through conflict by developing policies to guide the organization’s further development and decision making. Services include

  1. Governance Audit and Review-all organization members fill out a written assessment

    Results are tabulated and analyzed and recommendations presented

  2. Participative policy making

    Requires 3-4 meetings devoted to primarily policy-making

    • 1st meeting - presentation of report of governance review and identification of policies needed
    • 2nd meeting - presentation of draft policies
    • 3rd meeting - amended polices-approval
    • 4th meeting - if necessary
