Her certificate program in Capacity Building teaches the technical skills needed for effective governance and program delivery for NPO management. As designer and lead trainer for the Wellesley Institute’s Executive Leadership Program, which was developed for executive directors and senior managers in the NPO sector, Joan Roberts’ program aimed to “seed changes” in management approaches to collaboration and take these new ideas back to their home organizations and more widely in the NPO sector. “This program led to significant individual and organizational transformation.” Wellesley Institute, Program Evaluation.
